The Ravenshill Flower Festival

The Ravenshill Flower Festival is a day of friendship, learning and experimentation, to date held twice, in 2021 and 2022. It has brought together some of the leading floral designers in the country, and generated a rich body of work and images that encapsulates the spirit of the British seasonal flower movement.

The format of the festival is a series of collaborative workshops, held simultaneously across the Ravenshill site over the course of a day, exploring different aspects and techniques of working with seasonal, sustainably grown flowers. Central to the event is the photographic record, which enables participants to revisit their memories as well as professionally represent their involvement.

Below are the schedules and a selection of images from 2021 and 2022 - all images courtesy of Andrea Gilpin.
