This is a hands-on learning opportunity for anyone who wants to grow seasonal cut flowers for retail, and especially those with smaller plots who want to make the most of their space.

In this half-day workshop you’ll assist me start to finish with the process of making up my daily retail orders, from crop surveys to harvesting, from quality control to record keeping, from bouquet planning to bunching and wrapping.

As we go along there’ll be plenty of time for questions and discussion, about the varieties I grow (and those I don’t!), about why and how I grow them, about the general set up of my business and the pros and cons of growing for retail.

At the end of the session you’ll get to take home a “retail pack” full of tips and advice, plus one of the bunches we have made together as a memento of everything we’ve done and discussed.
